JOINING POLICY
Teacher & Staff Joining Policy
1. Appointment & Probation
Every newly appointed Teacher/Staff Member shall be on Probation for a period of Three (3) Months from the date of joining.
During probation, the employee's performance, punctuality, discipline, conduct, and professional attitude shall be evaluated.
The Management reserves the right to extend the probation period or terminate the employment if the employee's performance is found unsatisfactory.
2. Confirmation of Employment
Successful completion of the probation period does not automatically confirm employment.
Confirmation shall be issued only through a written Confirmation Letter from the Management.
3. Working Hours
Employees must report to school at least 15 minutes before the official reporting time.
Leaving the school premises during working hours without prior approval is not permitted.
4. Attendance
Biometric/Attendance Register is compulsory.
Salary will be calculated based on attendance records.
Repeated late reporting or absenteeism may invite disciplinary action.
5. Leave Policy
During the Probation Period, employees are generally not eligible for paid leave, except in genuine medical emergencies approved by the Management.
After confirmation, employees shall be entitled to:
Casual Leave (CL): 12 days per calendar year (1 day per month).
Medical Leave (ML): 6 days per calendar year, subject to submission of a valid medical certificate for leave exceeding two consecutive days.
Leave cannot be claimed as a matter of right and must be approved in advance, except in emergencies.
Unused CL or ML shall lapse at the end of the calendar year and cannot be encashed or carried forward unless specifically approved by the Management.
Continuous absence for three consecutive working days without prior information may be treated as abandonment of service.
6. Professional Conduct
Employees shall maintain professionalism, honesty, integrity, and respect towards students, parents, colleagues, and Management.
Any form of misconduct, harassment, abusive behaviour, or insubordination will attract disciplinary action.
7. Performance Evaluation
Performance shall be assessed based on:
Teaching quality and subject knowledge
Classroom management
Student learning outcomes
Punctuality and attendance
Professional behaviour
Teamwork and cooperation
Record maintenance
8. Confidentiality
All school records, student information, examination papers, financial records, and official documents are confidential.
Disclosure of confidential information without authorization may lead to disciplinary action or termination.
9. Code of Conduct
Employees shall wear decent professional attire and carry their ID card while on duty.
Mobile phones shall not be used during teaching hours except for official purposes.
Employees shall maintain the dignity and reputation of the institution at all times.
10. Salary
Salary shall be paid as per the Appointment Letter and attendance records.
During probation, salary and benefits shall be as specified in the Appointment Letter.
11. Resignation
Confirmed employees shall provide 30 days' written notice before resignation.
The Management may adjust salary in lieu of any unserved notice period, subject to applicable terms.
12. Termination
The Management reserves the right to terminate employment in cases of:
Unsatisfactory performance
Gross misconduct or indiscipline
Breach of confidentiality
Fraud or dishonesty
Physical or verbal abuse
Continuous unauthorized absence
Violation of school rules or policies
Any act detrimental to the reputation of the institution
13. General Conditions
Employees shall comply with all rules, policies, and instructions issued by the School Management from time to time.
The Management reserves the right to amend this policy whenever required in the interest of the institution.
